KCDN SASKTEL BREAKING BARRIERS HOST NASA KENNEDY SPACE CENTER

Monday, January 12 the KCDN’s SaskTel Breaking Barriers Series provided access to NASA’s Digital Learning Network via video conferencing technology.

Kennedy Space Center is America's Gateway to the Universe -- leading the world in preparing and launching missions around the Earth and beyond. Damon Talley from NASA Digital Learning Network participated from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
13 First Nation Schools participated in the video conference, with 253 students, and 23 teachers. All of the schools received a certification of participation.

KCDN’s SaskTel Breaking Barriers Series has the next NASA educational video conference set for Wednesday Jan 28, 2009. This time NASA Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama will present to Grades 5 - 8 at 2:05pm – 3:05pm CST.
Marshall Space Flight Center is world leader in the access to space and use of space for research and development to benefit humanity.
